Scott Herzog is an accomplished executive with more than 30 years of experience leading large‑scale operations, driving strategic growth, and transforming organizations across corporations. His career is defined by revitalizing underperforming business units, scaling multi‑state teams, and aligning people and processes to deliver measurable impact.
As Regional Director at H&R Block, Scott oversaw more than 350 locations across Texas, managing $100M+ in annual revenue and leading thousands of associates. He helped shape the company’s future strategy through national pilot programs, digital transformation initiatives, and the expansion of a leadership development pipeline that trained and graduated new district managers nationwide.
Scott’s leadership has earned multiple President’s Club awards, national recognition for resilience and innovation, and honors from the NAACP East Texas Branch for his commitment to inclusive leadership. He was also selected as Grand Marshal of Garland’s Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in recognition of his civic engagement and bridge‑building work.
Earlier in his career, Scott held senior roles at Intuit, Sage Software, Phoenix Media Group, and Harte Hanks Publishing—where he became the youngest Vice President in the operation—and served as President of Interactive Publishing, helping open the way for new digital technologies in the mid‑1990s. Scott consistently delivered double‑digit growth and built high‑performing teams throughout these roles. He has completed executive leadership programs with General Electric, Intuit, and Franklin Covey, H&R Block’s Quick Action Teams and is professionally trained in media and public communication. He is a frequent speaker on operational excellence, leadership development, and mission‑driven transformation.
